A little about me...

I wasn't born into money or privilege—no trust fund, no family connections in real estate, just a girl living paycheck to paycheck, drowning in debt who was tired of throwing money away without a path to financial security and freedom. The idea of owning property felt impossible, especially when I thought I needed perfect credit, $100,000 for a down payment and years of experience to even get started.

Everything changed in 2013 when I decided to stop making excuses and start taking action. I read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and dozens of other investing books, started speaking with successful investors to learn their strategies, and began working multiple jobs—sales rep by day, bartender by night—to save every dollar I could. Yes, I made many mistakes along the way, but in 2016, I finally bought my first property, a small 2-bedroom condo that I still own today. Was I scared? Hell Yes, but that purchase changed everything—not just financially, but mentally. It proved that real estate investing was absolutely possible for someone like me. I felt a huge sense of pride, empowerment and most importantly a path to freedom.

But here’s the thing: while I was celebrating, I couldn’t help but notice how many incredible women around me were still stuck on the sidelines afraid to take the leap. 

That realization lit a fire in me. Women are told to play it safe. Save more. Spend less. But we’re rarely taught how to invest—and that’s where the real freedom is. I've seen too many capable women stalling because they think they're "not ready yet." Meanwhile, less qualified people are building wealth through real estate every single day. Women deserve better! Better resources, clearer guidance, and someone who actually understands the unique challenges we face.

That's what inspired me to start Real Estate Investor Gals™. My mission is to help women go from uncertain to confident real estate investors—without needing a huge savings account or years of experience.
